Fixed blade survival knife with a hollow handle. Newton Martin developed a design that is virtually indestructible. Extreme bending tests were performed on this model and the blade deforms permanently before there was any weakening at the blade junction.
The massive blade has a thickness of 6.6 mm and is made of 440C. The design of the handle makes an absolutely watertight compartment in the handle for safe storage of additional utensils (not included). The paracord winding on the handle improves the grip, and also offers some valuable yards of paracord for use in an emergency. The cantilevered blade guard increases safety. Handle and blade are provided with a matte, non reflective bead blasted finish. A knife without compromise, up for any adventure. Includes a high quality black leather sheath.
